IRS-Impersonation Telephone Scam

IRS — An aggressive and sophisticated phone scam targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, has been making the rounds throughout the country. Callers claim to be employees of the IRS, but are not. These con artists can sound convincing when they call. They use fake names and bogus IRS identification badge numbers. They may know a lot about their targets, and they usually alter the caller ID to make it look like the IRS is calling.

Getting Ready for Administrative Action

CONGRESSMAN LUIS V. GUTIERREZ— On November 20, 2014, the President announced the Immigration Accountability Executive Action. Using his executive authority, the President is expanding eligibility for the DACA program. He also announced the creation of a new program for the parents of U.S. citizen children and Lawful Permanent Resident children, the Deferred Action for Parents (DAP) program. Undocumented parents who have been present in the U.S. for FIVE YEARS will be required to register with the government, pay taxes, and pass a background check at their own expense. If approved, they will receive protection from deportation for three years and authorization to work.

In The Beginning:
Casado's Associates, LLC was founded by Mr. Casado on June 16, 2000 in Methuen, Massachussetts. In its beginning our main objective was the preparation of individual and business income taxes in the cities of Lawrence and Methuen, MA. In September of 2001, our office was moved from Methuen, MA to Pelham, New Hampshire, where we had a small home-office until November 7th of 2006.
The Growing Years:
In 2004, we embarked on a long growth journey. We opened our second office in Gainesville, Georgia on September 1st of 2006, where we still have many clients. Despite our shortcomings in the State of Georgia, we were able to overcome many hurdles and obstacles as we continued to grow and expand. In November 14, 2009, we opened our office in Miami, Florida where we have numerous clients and we continued to expand our practice. Our motto is to "Always Do Our Work Proficiently" and this has helped us understand the inherent need to excel and to progress despite our shortcomings. As a result of our endeavor and zeal to succeed with our clients, we have been able to maintain our reputation of good quality among our clients. Nevertheless, in spite of the distance between our current office location in Miami and our clients places of residence or business either in Massachusetts, Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina, we have continued to serve and work with our clients to this date.
Where We Are Going:
Our ultimate goal is to create a natiowide firm with clients in every state including but not limited to working with subsidiaries. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service, the broadest selection of products and the most competitive prices in our nation. We are driven by values and our tantamount values of our mission statement include the following:

Finees M. Casado, EA, RTRP, Miami, FL Owner: Mr. Casado, has been preparing corporation, business and individual income taxes since 2001, when Casado's Associates, LLC was founded. Currently, he works with several corporations payroll and financial systems. Also, he supervises Bookeepers to ensure compliance to the IRS Code and Regulations. In addition to working in the IRS taxation field, Mr. Casado has also eight years of immigration experience with clients througout the United States. He was educated in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Suffolk Law School, and Manchester, New Hampshire, where he attended Southern New Hampshire University.
